The game starts off at Level 1, where players are placed on a dock and equipped with simple controls. By tapping on the desired location to cast and holding to reel in, you can effortlessly catch a few bass and qualify for exciting bass tournaments. These tournaments pit you against real players and are based on their recent results. With every successful tournament, you advance to the next level.

Level 2 introduces your first boat and unlocks access to new lakes for exploration. As you progress through higher levels, additional features and challenges become available. While your initial boat is modest in size and speed, performing well in tournaments allows you to earn upgrades swiftly. As you climb the ranks, you'll gain access to boats equipped with trolling motors or shallow water anchors, as well as state-of-the-art sonar fish locators.

In addition to faster boats, the game also features larger lakes with bigger bass. Advancing levels enhances your control over lure mechanics and scanning techniques, while also introducing better rods and lures. Moreover, higher levels introduce new challenges where there are stakes involved, such as potential damage to your boat due to crashes. In high-level bass tournaments, more fishing time is granted, but you'll face tougher competition.

Every level offers separate bass tournaments and a global leaderboard specific to that level. This ensures fair competition among players who possess similar equipment, features, and face the same challenges on identical lakes.

The in-game tackle shop updates its inventory with a new lure for each level every 2 hours. These lures encompass a diverse range of realistic features. Some lures cast farther, others have enhanced fish-hooking capabilities, while some prioritize minimizing snags. Additionally, lures with increased vibration appeal to fish from greater distances. Regularly checking the tackle shop ensures you build an extensive collection that prepares you for the varying habitats you'll encounter while exploring new lakes daily.

The choice to advance to higher levels is entirely optional. If you prefer a casual experience, you can remain at any level of your preference or even step down levels. However, if you aspire to become a top-tier Bass Tourney Challenger, strive to reach Level 20!

In-app purchases are available for players who wish to acquire additional Bass Bux, the in-game currency, for equipment upgrades. It is important to note that these purchases cannot be used to ascend levels; progression solely relies on the points earned through competitive tournament play.
